Radio listeners are under the impression that this amazing detective with the hypnotic powers is a fictional character. This manuscript should set the record straight and correct that misperception.

There is a real Man of the Mist. All of the characters created on the radio program are based on real people who, for their own safety, are referred to by fictitious names. On a monthly basis, program writers meet with him and his adventuresome secretary, "Moxie,” to listen to reports on their latest adventures and transcribe them for broadcast.
