Who is Jawbreaker, the hooded hero? The underworld wants to know!

Called Jawbreaker because of his no-holds-barred approach to fighting crime, he thinks nothing of stealing a cop’s motorcycle in his single-minded pursuit of evildoers! Not wanting to waste a moment in his battle, Jawbreaker doesn’t pause to don a costume, he merely slips on a black hood and goes into instant action in whatever he happens to be wearing—be it a suit and tie or dungarees and a sweatshirt.

Performing incredible feats of speed and strength, Jawbreaker possesses no superpowers. But like other famous, larger-than-life champions of justice—e.g., Zorro, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Tarzan, the Green Arrow, the Spirit, the Lone Ranger, Santo, the Phantom, etc.—he is a superhero.

But now Jawbreaker is up against his greatest challenge, a fiend called the Scarlet Skull who has unleashed a reign of terror on Southern California. But what is his motive? Revenge? Profit? Power? Or is he a complete madman glorying in inflicting death and destruction on anyone and anything? No one knows. And no one seems able to stop him.

Jawbreaker alone is determined to track down the Scarlet Skull and end the supervillain’s monstrous career of bloodshed and death—even if it costs the hooded hunter his life!
